The foundation under WIWIK 100
What began in 2015 as one student's desire to share what he wished he knew became a decade-long movement — and the proven base from which WIWIK 100 now grows.
A Decade of Impact
Since 2015, the WIWIK Conference has grown into one of Ghana's most impactful student-centered platforms.
Our Mission
To bridge the knowledge and exposure gap between tertiary education and professional life — empowering students with practical wisdom, industry insight, and personal growth strategies that prepare them for the world beyond the classroom.
Our Vision
A generation of young leaders who enter the world with confidence, clarity, and the practical skills to thrive — and who lift others as they rise.
Four pillars
Knowledge
Practical wisdom and industry insight that goes beyond the classroom curriculum.
Exposure
Direct access to thought leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, and policy experts.
Growth
Personal development and career-readiness skills for the modern professional world.
Community
A supportive network of peers, mentors, and alumni invested in each other's success.
Dr. Bernard Kwame Tawiah
Dr. Bernard Kwame Tawiah founded the WIWIK Conference in 2015 during his final year at the University of Cape Coast. Driven by his own experience navigating the transition from academia to the professional world, he built a platform to share the knowledge he wished he'd had earlier.
Under his leadership, WIWIK grew from a campus initiative into a movement that has reached over 15,000 students — and now into WIWIK 100, a structured national pathway.

What people say
My experience at the What I Wish I Knew Conference was transformative. It was impeccably organized, with timely and relevant themes that addressed the critical challenges young professionals face.
The patronage was overwhelming — over 2,000 participants. The kind of questions participants asked is a clear indication of how impactful the program has been.
It was really inspiring to see over 2,000 young men and women investing their time in acquiring knowledge on self-leadership. The team is truly dedicated to leadership development.
